Protein Sciences Corporation is a biopharmaceutical service company headquartered in Meriden, CT. PSC is the world leader in using the Baculovirus Expression Vector System (BEVS) on a commercial scale. Protein Sciences is rapidly becoming the partner of choice for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and genomics companies who seek the fastest, safest way to proceed from a gene target to a commercial vaccine, therapeutic, or screening molecule.

IIMS, Case Studies, Strategic PlanningProtein Sciences presented our project team with the task of reinventing their Web site. They wanted to project a professional online image, to effectively sell their products and services, to increase traffic, and to streamline update processes.

During our initial strategy session we identified target audiences and outlined business objectives. We collaborated with the Protein Sciences staff to understand their goals and to absorb their philosophy and culture.

We proposed a new Web site architecture that gave emphasis to Protein Sciences' key technologies and services including (BEVS) and GeneXpress. Strategies for attracting the intended audience were discussed and implemented.
